Multiple Cyclists struck by cars in two crashes: A BAD start to the winter season

There was a horrific accident in Venice, Florida, in late October. It involved four experienced bicyclists between the ages of 55 and 67. They were struck from behind by a motor vehicle driven by a 91-year-old woman. All four bicyclists were hospitalized. One of them died.

Bicyclist awarded $300,000 from runner for collision

In July 2015, a jury in Roanoke, Virginia awarded $300,000 to a bicyclist for injuries she sustained in a collision with a jogger. The incident occurred on a greenway. The jogger and the bicyclist were traveling in the same direction.
